About the event
This course will consist of Illicit Massage Business Investigations where students will learn the Four Corner Strategy of identifying, investigating and prosecuting IMB's. Attendees will learn:
How to recognize the indicators of a possible human trafficking incident
How to ascertain if a party is a victim of human trafficking and best practices for interactions
How to use the Four Corner Strategy
How use a victim centered approach (Special Victims Methodology)
How to identify possible electronic evidence of trafficking on cell phones
How to follow the money during an IMB investigations
How to interview a possible suspect in a human trafficking case
Understand how to build a case for prosecution on an IMB
Understand the business model of the IMB
