About the event

This training is Human Trafficking Interdiction, designed to provide law enforcement and other multidisciplinary team members with the signs and indicators of possible trafficking victims in the course of their everyday duties, and how to conduct trafficking investigations that produce results.


Among many other things, attendees will learn:

• How to recognize the indicators of a possible trafficking incident (and how often this is missed even by well trained professionals)

• How to ascertain if a party is a victim of trafficking and best practices for interactions

• How to effectively use a victim centered approach

• How to identify the best evidence to build a successful trafficking case

• How to transition from a routine call or interview to a human trafficking investigation

• What the various multi-disciplinary groups are, how to use them and how to work with victim advocates


Audience: Active Law Enforcement, Probation & Parole, Forensic Interviewers, Nurses, Doctors, Prosecutors, CPS and Human Trafficking Advocates.
