Interview & Interrogation

This class will give police officers and detectives the skills needed to conduct a complete and thorough interview, when and how to transition into an interrogation and how to conduct a complete interrogation to arrive at the truth.

Attendees will learn:

• How and when to move from an interview to an interrogation

• How to build the right rapport

• How to use behavior observation questions

• How to interpret body language

• How to select the interrogation location.

• How to use props during an interrogation

• How to develop a theme for the interrogation to address different scenarios

• How to use touch and social zones during the interrogation

• How to obtain a confession and use an apology letter
